Agios Stefanos Holidays: Fun In Isolated Cove
If Greece is not about crowd and fun for you, you will have a great time with Agios Stefanos holidays. Agios Stefanos is a small secluded cove with an attractive beach. It is a pebble beach with soothing waters and scorching sun. There is a resort with the same name on the northwest coast, but this village is on the eastern side of Corfu.
Agios Stefanos is not one of the villages that attract lots of tourists and hence, it is greatly suitable for those who are interested in spending their time in isolated bay. There are hotels and resorts nearby this village that let you spend most of your time in the village. Along the hills, there are plenty of villas providing luxurious and budget friendly all inclusive holidays for everyone.
The beach is not shallow and hence, Agios Stefanos is not for families with active small kids. The waters are soft however, and great for swimming if you know how to handle deep seas. You have to be careful about sea urchins found in plenty on the rocks.
There are four tavernas on the beach and a couple more in the villages. Don’t expect some high end international cuisine here, but you will get to taste some secret Greek recipes known only to certain Greek families. Agios Stefanos is one of the villages to which day trips will be organized from the Corfu town.
Kerasia beach has some great coves and you can enjoy horse riding in Emeritus natural reserve. For excellent nightlife, get your car and ride to interior Corfu town.
